JANE CHOI, DDS

Dr. Choi, an east coast transplant, started her dental journey in forensic dentistry as an undergrad studying skeletal remains in North Carolina. She decided that she’d much rather interact with living people, so she completed her dental doctorate with honors at the UNC School of Dentistry in 2010 and continued her post-grad training at the VA Medical Center in Long Beach. Along the way, she filled her passport with dental mission trips to Guatemala and Honduras and surgery externships in Brazil and South Africa. To share her passion for dentistry, she taught as an instructor at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. She continues to stay at the cutting edge of dentistry through continuing education, taking over 100 hours of advanced training each year; she has completed the UCSF Dental Sleep Medicine residency for treatment of obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliances, a Mastership in Biomimetic Dentistry to provide patients with ethical, long lasting and conservative restorations, and advanced training at the Kois Center for advanced jaw function and aesthetics.

When she doesn’t have her hands in people’s mouths, Dr. Choi and her husband wrangle their two kids to find the best playgrounds in SF.

KIMBERLY LOUIE, DDS

Dr. Louie was born and raised in Sacramento. Although her pedigree is in optometry (both parents and her sister are optometrists), her passion for oral health led her to pursue her dental degree. She received her B.S. in Biology at Cal Poly, followed by her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco in 2011. After completing her degrees, Dr. Louie set off to Jamaica and Peru on mission trips as a volunteer dentist, where she put her acquired skills to use by bringing dentistry to those without access to traditional oral healthcare. She has completed the UCSF Residency in Sleep Medicine to provide care for patients with obstructive sleep apnea and is committed to staying on the forefront of dentistry by always learning through continuing education courses. Most recently, Dr. Louie has completed advanced training at the Kois Center with the mission of learning the latest advances in aesthetics, implants and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Louie strives to practice the way she tries to live her life: by treating everyone the way she would like to be treated - with respect, honesty, and giving her best quality of work. When she's not helping her patients with their dental needs, Dr. Louie enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities, including boating, wakeboarding and playing paintball. In her free time, she lives by the motto "I'll try anything once".

When she’s not helping patients at the office, Dr. Lew can be found spending time with her family, trying different restaurants throughout the city, and cheering on the Bay Area sports teams.

PATRICIA NGUYEN, DMD

Though Dr. Nguyen has lived in various cities in California, she still calls Bay Area her home. An alumni of University of California Berkeley with a focus on Integrative Biology, she brought her Cal Bear pride to sunny Southern California and completed her dental doctorate at Western University of Health Sciences. There, she was honored to be on the Dean’s List and received awards from the American Association of Public Health Dentistry from her contributions to community health.

Dr. Nguyen has volunteered at local free clinics and served vulnerable populations. She is committed to providing kind and comprehensive care, prioritizing patient needs and quality dentistry.

When Dr. Nguyen is not saving teeth, she is experimenting in the kitchen, dabbling in acting, and escaping rooms with friends.
